Fishing with Capt. Bosley off Cape Cod for a day and a half in October 2015 was an incredible experience. The first day we left the inlet before dawn, as hundreds of thousands of sea birds led us offshore to both pursue enormous pods of bait fish driven to the surface by schools of bluefin tuna. Mike’s run-and-gun tactics paid off with this nice 180+ lb. bluefin. Most delightful, the fish was taken on spinning tackle with an artificial sand eel bait pitched to busting schools of tuna, and landed tag-team with my buddy Keith. Amazingly, to ensure our catch, Mike harpooned the fish through the eyes! The next day we switched to striped bass on artificials with multiple, double hookups. After my 21st striper like this, my elbow was shot and I was glad it was only a 4-hour trip. The 40+ whales we saw each day and the time Mike took to process our tuna steaks were a nice bonus. Great fishing guide.
